Dear Prawin,
Learning Emotional Intelligence as a academic study or conducting training on this module because "boss/client" tells to do so is fine but can anyone give me case study on ROI of this training module?
I am yet to come across with any trainer who could show reduced operational expenditure or increase in revenue after this training.
Not that I am against learning emotional intelligence but recession put on test Emotional Intelligence. When management or HR Department terminated staffs, did EI came handy to them?
I will thankful to anyone who could give reply to these questions.

Your PPT on EI is really educating for me in a concise manner. Since we do not have an easy access to such tools to use in training our people yours has come right out of the blue sky and made the day for us.
We are a group established only a year ago and have been struggling to stand on our own feet in the field of Sales,Marketing & Distribution.
Although most of the senior staff are well experienced with the industry the new staff are not. And it is very true that "Street Smarts" are very important in building good relationships with the customers especially in the field that we are venturing.
We would be most grateful if you could kindly throw some lights on the "L'oreal results" in connection with EI.
In fact all the articles which we have been enjoying reading are really really great and useful for us.
it's a pity and shame for us that we could not contribute to the community as we are from a country where such things have been kept at bay for so many many years.

EI is about way of life it may not be looked as piecemeal,it builds perspective.
People start working with differrent paradigms.

That was a tough question but very relevant one. We already have tons of material on EI on CiteHR. I will appreciate if some experts in EI could respond to Dinesh's response on ROI of EI training, specially its application during the recessionary phase of the economy.
