Dear Anita and all other viewers,
Let me take this opportunity to thank all the viewers for appreciating my email presentation. your generous appreciation has encouraged me further to work more on other soft skills and also on some light psychological topics like Self Awareness etc.
To answer Anita's query - Yes you can certainly make email etiquettes training very interesting as follows -
A) Divide the group in teams - give each one a simple topic for eg. sending email for a weekly meeting or email for birthday celebrations or a formal review meeting. Each group should be given 10-15 min for preparing the email and then each group makes a presentation. The others should list down what they felt about the email and then they should present their vies to all. This way the topic gets revised and becomes perfect in all the members. Give a small prize for the best email
B) Keep in a basket or a bowl papers wherein you should draft all types of emails. Let these be with mistakes, confusing etc...in such a way that all the "don'ts" are covered in the emails. Now, let each person come and pick up a paper. He / she should within three minutes start telling the audience what was missing in the email, what was followed and what not. Again the topic gets revised by this
There are many more...hope these two would give you a start...
Thanks
Sanjay I
