what is the role of hr executive in payroll administration in a software company.i will be thankfull if some one to answer my query

Hi,
As you are working as HR Excutive in Payroll Administration with a Software Company, and wanted to know about your role.
So, first of all; you have to aware abt all the statutary compliances like Minimum wages, Distribution of salary (Basic, HRA, Conveyance, DA, TA, etc.), PF, ESI (types of different forms, return submission, challan form etc.)
And if you are using any Payroll Software for this, then you have to fill the entries & you will easily update all the things managed.
You have to update yourself with the help of different websites related to State Government Rules & Regulations, PF, ESI etc.

I wud like to tell u that, Payroll Management is segment of HR.
HR is very wide term coverd many segments like;
Recruitment, Payroll Management, Training & Development, Performance Appraisal, Organisational Development, etc.
If u r working in HR generalist profile, then u can touch with every segment of HR.
