What To Call A BPO Other Than A BPO?

Dear Friends
We have BPO as a part of our company. We are facing a small problem in that. BPO staffs asking to change the name instead of BPO for their department. Our management too accept their queries. So we are planning to initiate other name instead of BPO to their department. Kindly suggest me any name for the BPO.Please reply me as quick as possible. Thanks

Ask the staffs of your department to suggest you BPO name .
Well you made me laugh so you got a Labour Union in your company and asking to change the name.
Is name so important for work.
Tell them you will change the name " XYZ " will they agree to reduce their salary package too ?
Put work pressure on them, then they will not trouble you for changing the name of the company.

I don't think that BPO is not a good name but it is true that our society do not see call centers as a right place to work, moreover i m also working in a international bpo as hr recruiter. BPO is a universally accepted name you cannot change this.

I have been an owner of one of the BPO in Ahmedabad for past 5 years.
As we all know that BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) is named so if we are doing some work of other company and are specialized for the same. But as per your query I understand that the job done by the group of people is a regular internal process of the company so BPO is definitely not correct name for the Dept.
Don't know the kind of Job they do, so cant suggest for the desired name.

i do not have much experience about this, but Keeping name or change in name is the part of management dept. of company there is no relation of STAFF with this.
Change in name is nothing for them but you only think how many documents work you have to do with govt. stuff... Next time they will Tell you to change the Location of the company where they want..are u going to do that also ???
They are staff not owners and per mangt. rules You have to work with them not under them, this will end up d company soon. now its your way how to prove them that you are owner not they.

I really don't understand why do you need to check with your staff for the names... It should be within the management team.....

Company title is not employee concern, they want to do work, and their growth only. don't give a chance involvement in Management.

I can accept this, most of the friends has posted not to change the departmental name. But our management itself accepted their request. Actually whats the issue in changing the name is they are not getting loans from the bank because of their departmental name as BPO.
