Should Duties Be Mentioned On Letter- Canadian Immigration Purposes

Dear friends,

Can anyone help me out with the format of an experience letter required for Canadian Immigration purposes? I am a bit confused here. The relieving letter I received from my organization in India only includes my job designation along with the joining and relieving dates. So, could someone please advise me if I also need to have my duties mentioned on my experience letter to file my immigration here in Canada?
