Weekly Day Off

i m working in a construction industry in AP where the wormen is paid daily wages dividing the monthly wages by 26 days.we have declared Sunday as a weekly off day.we are working in 2 shifts (12 hrs a shift)and generally shift change happended on Sunday.
due to monthly target set up by our client some times we used to work on sunday and other holidays also.
suppose we have worked on sunday(in both shift) and could not able to change the shift ,but decided to change the shift on monday.we worked monday in the day shift and close the night shift.
Whether it will be correct to declare MONDAY AS weekly off instead of Sunday in this particular case?
whether the workers in night shift on monday will be paid the wages for that day without working?
whether we are liable to pay Double OT on Sunday and normal wages(8hrs.) to the Monday Night shift workers?
pls advice because we have to prepare the wages.

Dear joharsk7 ,
As told you shall give them a off on Monday. As they have been given 2 times pay on their work given on Sunday, you shall make Sunday as a normal working day and shall give them a weekly off on Monday. In this way it is not necessary for the company to pay them extra on Sunday. Again it would always be better for you to give them a day off before changing the shift..

Dear
Hoping that your construction industry is covered under Minimum Wages Act, 1948 you hereby advised to go through AP Minimum Wages Rules relating to Weekly day of rest, number of hours of work which shall constitute a normal working day, night shifts & extra wages for overtime for your query. I hope that after going through these Rules of your State you will solve your query.
With Regards,
