Managing Changes in Occupier Name: Legal Compliance and Form Submission

We are an Engineering/Manufacturing industry, and recently, in my organization, our MD has resigned, and a new person has replaced him. My question is, as we need to change the name of the occupier, what are the acts under which we have to place the change of the occupier notice, and what forms do we need to fill out under each act to comply with the same?

Dear Sapidg,

Kindly take your Company Board of Resolution in form 23 (changes in any directors/ Occupier) it should be submitted in the forms FORM NO. 2-A Prescribed under Rule -12 Notice of Change of Manager / Occupier. This form is to be sent to the Inspector of Factories within 7 days of the change:

1. Full Name and Address of the Factory :
2. License Number :
3. Full Postal Address for Communications relating to the Factory :
4. Whether change relates to Manager / Occupier :
5. Name of outgoing Manager / Occupier :
6. Full Name and residential address of the new Manager / Occupier :
7. Date of appointment of the new Manager / Occupier.

In case of any change in the Partners or Directors, a list of names of the Directors / partners with their residential address shall be attached to this notice.
