Hi kumar,
Every organisation will have service rules or standing orders to address such issues and you can accordingly go ahead to initiate necessary action.

Dear Member,
The word 'absconder' is not used in the service rules or standing orders by any of the companies as claimed by one of the members. The term absconder is used for the criminal or fugitive who runs away and hides himself to avoid arrest or prosecution. The company normally uses the word 'unauthorised absence' or 'absence from duty without intimation or prior permission' in the standing orders.Such employees are liable for disciplinary action as prescribed in the standing orders or as per the conditions of service rules.
