I am a fresher who has recently joined an IT firm as an HR Executive. Can anybody help me or provide instructions on how an Induction PPT for an IT firm is prepared?

It depends on whether it's technical or HR.

HR Induction:

Introduction Of Company Profile, Introduction with the Staff, Employee strength, Turnover or sales p.a., Products & Services, Hierarchy of the Company, Might be the Organogram (Reporting Structure).

Sharing the culture & all policies (Leave, Attendance, Office Timing, Rules & Regulations) of the Company.

Technical Induction:

That you can take the help of H.O.Ds of the concerned dept.

Dear Megha,

Apart from what Smita has pointed out, I suggest that you include the following topics in your induction ppt:

- Vision, Mission, Values, and goals of the organization
- Dress code policy, if any
- Health and Occupational policy of the company
- Grievance handling policy, if any
- Computer and Email usage policy

To add to the suggestions, you can also run a short corporate movie to add some entertainment. Moreover, play some energizers after giving the details about your company. This really works and helps in making the crowd more active.

3.3 Dos’ & Don’ts of Internet use.
4.0 Basic Excel Training
