Not Yet Completed MBa HR But Want A Job In Hr

I have a question: I am currently working as an Admin Officer and pursuing an MBA in HR through correspondence, which I have not yet completed. Can I still get a job in the HR field without completing my MBA?

Whether you can apply or not depends on the company you are applying to. Make it clear that you are still completing your degree and when it will be over.

Right now, I'm working at India Infoline as an admin officer, but I want a job in the HR field. I have not yet completed my course. I am pursuing it from IGNOU.

First, try to get a chance in your company because you know the people there and you can convince them. Otherwise, it is very difficult to convince if you are showing your experience in administration and you want a job in another field. You know what I mean, right? After gaining experience from your company, you can apply elsewhere. Also, please clarify where Hubli is, I mean your location.

Suman...at this stage what is advisable is to grow with in the company. As someone else also mentioned...it is also important to understand from you as what you are willing to pay (in terms of sacrifices) to get a job in HR.
You can try with HR Consultancies?
You can also try with HR Outsource Companies?
Try to get in touch with those BPO’s who are working on HR Processes, like Hewitt. Most of those BPO’s don’t need MBA’s.

I have the same position as yours; I am pursuing PGDBA-HR from Symbiosis, Pune, and working as an HR Executive in a software company.

Along with my studies, I started with a placement company and kept trying in the corporates. Now, I have landed a break as an HR Generalist. My advice to you is to try to get into your company's HR department as you can easily convince them. Otherwise, keep track of opportunities outside as well. You can also consider reaching out to some good placement consultants.

My suggestion is that you please start your career in HR from Consultants from where you can cover your recruitment part, which is again a strong field of HR. Side by side, while interacting with the clients, you will develop some good relations, and they may offer you an opportunity. Even I was sailing in the same boat and joined a top leading consultant in Delhi having a very good clientele with brand names. Once I was doing the headhunting for a top-level position in HR and chatting with the GM of a leading MNC; he liked my way of communication, confidence and called me to visit his plant and have a meeting with him. I went there, and he offered me a job. So, you never know when opportunity will knock on your door and take you to new heights. If you require any kind of help in Delhi, you are welcome.
