Effective Communication Strategies for Employee Departures in Sales & Marketing

Good evening!

As we are in Sales & Marketing, could anyone provide me with a draft of a Farewell Note that can be emailed to everyone, informing them that the xyz employee is leaving the company?

Please help me as I want to show the draft to my boss.

Hi,

I personally feel that you should not send a farewell note copying to everybody as it creates a negative motivation. If it's done more often, people feel that there is higher attrition.

Dear Jaishi,

Thank you for your email. However, there is a benchmark for this situation. If the employee has worked for more than 2 years, then only we will send a farewell note to everyone. Additionally, our attrition rate is not very high.
