Guidance on EPF Withdrawal Process and Application Status Tracking

I want to know how I can find the status of my PF withdrawal application. I moved from my old company in 2006, and until now, my money has not been transferred. I keep calling my ex-employer and they inform me that the form has been sent to the Regional office, assuring me that I will receive the money within 3 months. However, it has been more than 3 years, and I still haven't received the amount. Please help me trace my PF application status and obtain the money.

Most of the EPF sites are not updated. Therefore, it is advisable to go and meet the EPF Commissioner personally to trace the details. Once a week, the Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner will meet the members and address grievances. Find out the specific day applicable to your region; it may be on Thursday.

Firstly, have you applied for PF withdrawal or transfer? Whatever the case may be, it should not take 3 years. I think there is some problem with your application. In case the PF department has informed your previous employer about the issue and they haven't responded, or your previous organization has not yet submitted your application, they might be providing you with incorrect information. If they have indeed submitted it, ask them for the acknowledgment copy.
