It depends how is HR deppt. managed in your company. Sometime some administrative functions are also part of HR.

Mainly HR role is to create employee related policies, administer and execute various systems and process its employees besides statutory compliances. HR role are defined into: recruitment, training, compensation, employee engagement and generalist. Within each function there are innumerable activities. Each company innovates and implements as per its culture and vision.
