Dear Seniors,
I have a case.
A Maint. Manger met with an accident in a compnay. He is taken to the doctor and doctor says everything is normal and no fracture like injury is there but the patient is adviced to take rest for 15 days by the doctor. The patient join the office after 10 days and again go on leave very next day stating madical reason of same injury. He consults another doctor and send a medical certificate for being medically "unfit to join the duty" for next one month.
Now my question is that, in this type of case, is company bound to pay his salary for the period of his being absence ? Is Company bound to accept another doctor's certificate other than company's doctor ?
I am seeking answer urgently please.
