REQUIREMENTS.

STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES Establish, Direct, Administer and coordinate the
VENDORS GROUP Business Development activities.
*Strategically planfor developand profitably penetrate the
VENDORS GROUP, to which the COMPANY products services and
capabilities can be directed.These activities include setting
objectives for VENDORS /developing strategies/and
coordinating the trade marketing promotion programs.
*Setting and Meeting the sales/ gross profit objectives. of the overall
VENDORS' GROUP and also some selected resellers within the group.
*Achieve the agreed market share level
*Solicit major contract sales with various VENDORS, who offer specialised
services.
*Steering the future expansion of the BUSINESS with the VENDORS GROUP
by identifying new business opportunities.
*Negotiating and Implementing business / marketing strategies with the
VENDORS GROUP units.
*Responsible for focusing / devising strategies in line with the corporate vision
that enables the COMPANY to meet the combined VENDORS GROUP sales
target.
*Responsible for driving of the growth rate of the VENDORS GROUP units
sales.
*Responsible for managing the shift in emphasis, resources and focus as the
market situation and priorities demands and at short notice.
*Responsible for the identification and implemetation of opportunities to build "value
added" products/ service to the VENDORS GROUP customers.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
*Managing the VENDORS GROUP/SALES.
*Within the limits of the policiesand guidelines of the COMPANY
‑Achieve the sales objectives of the VENDORS GROUP.
‑Achieve specified product ranging within the VENDORS GROUP.
‑Achieve the budgeted gross profit for the VENDORS GROUP.
*Submit short term and long term plans for the VENDOR GROUP /SALES.
*Responsible for the coordination of the business plans for the nominated
individual VENDORS.
*Submit sales strategies for the vendor group , utilising available
marketing programs to reach planned target.
*Provide and Present to management information regarding VENDOR GROUP
on their status and recommend plans to maximize future business.
*Submit plans for promotional activities planned for the VENDORS GROUP for
approval to the NATIONAL MARKETING MANAGER.
*Prepare , maintain and update the profile of the VENDORS GROUP selected units' ‑
‑‑personnel, policies, procedures, practices, strategies etc.
*Provide assistance, guidance, and support to the sales team / branch managers in
servicing the VENDORS GROUP business units.
*Develop and maintain strategic business relationship with VENDORS GROUP,
each on its own merit, to promote the company for profitable business
relationship.
*Responsible for the authorisation of all product pricings with regard to the
VENDORS GROUP business units.
*Responsible for the initiation / coordination of the technical training of the sales staff
of the VENDORS GROUP business units, as required.
*Maintain working business relations with VENDORS GROUP in order to create
product awareness and knowledge through training, meetings, trade shows, fax blasts,
emails and other activities.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
*Responsible for the Performance reviews, regularly,the VENDORS GROUP
business units performance, evaluation and corrective actions, as required.
*Responsible for the coordination of the half yearly reviews presentations to the
VENDORS group, in conjunction with the NATIONAL SALES/MARKETING
MANAGERS.
*Responsible for monitoring of the monthly sales /product group performance against
budget.
*Responsible for thedirection/ implementation of all product promotions in conjunction
with branch managers/ SALES MANAGER/ marketing manager for the VENDOR GROUP units.
*Responsible for the direction/ implementation of all new product launches, in conjunction
with branch managers/ SALES/marketing manager for the VENDORS GROUP units.
*Responsible for the identification and implementation of business opportunities to build
"value added" packages for the VENDORS GROUP units.
*Works closely with branch managers/ VENDORS to service the end‑users
[customers].
*Ensure that sales and marketing initiatives with the VENDORS GROUP
comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP.
*Works closely with NATIONAL SALES MANAGER/MARKETING MANAGER/BRANCH MANAGERS.
*Coordinates effectively with MARKETING MANAGER, insales promotion / trade
promotion and trade marketing activities.
*Coordinates effectively with the PRODUCT MANAGERS in product marketing activities
for the VENDORS GROUP units.
*Works closely with the branch sales teams.
