Hi all, I am attaching an XLS file with the pincodes of all areas in India. Hope this will be a useful thread. 😛

Some of the details are wrong. For example, take 679101; it is Ottappalam. You have mentioned that the district is Thrissur, but actually, it is Palakkad. There are lots of similar mistakes. How can I get the correct information?

In your listings, it is given that Kuttanad is in Alappuzha district and the city is Palghat... ?????????????

First of all, my sincere apology for posting a file full of errors in this forum. But dear friend, though it was not created by me, I don't want to insult the unknown author. Because this type of sourcing needs real hard work to compile all that data. So, to my unknown author, hats off to you... Great work.

If you know that a file is full of errors, what is the use of that file? How can I use it? Because when I checked with known pincodes, it was wrong.

Really a very useful post, dear Anoop. Maybe some mistakes roll... Not an issue.

If a blank white paper with a tiny dot in the middle of the paper is shown to the people, asking them what they find... some people would say they have seen a black dot, leaving such a spacious white paper behind (leaving a good thing and identifying & focusing on...). Hmm... Anyways... nice posting... Keep sharing...

I think the full list does not cover everything. Please update the full list as this data is always useful.

I want the latest full list of PIN codes for Tamil Nadu. However, the download you provided is very old.
