for the above question we insist the you should have aggrrmen for contract and you should mentioned the clause like those people shoul responsible for payment of ESI and P F payment , moreover whenever your making the payment you should collect the copy the ESI And P F Paid challans .

It is responsibility of HR person to ensure & sign all the payment whether statutory or related to employees. If contractor does not pay any dues timely, it will be direct responsibility of employer.
