Taking Original Documents From Employees - PDF Download

What can be done if the company are taking the original Qualification documents ,but it is not mention in the appointment letter or any letter issued by the company during appointment. Also if it is just mention that you will have to undergo a secret bond but you have not signed any bond on legal paper.Can employee be releaved from the company by giving proper notice period. What if the employer still ask to pay two month salary and hold the orignal documents with him.

This is totally illegal one can not keep the original documents because of his organizational issues. Employer can check and verify the original documents at the time of appointment but can't hold his documents.

taking over of employee"s original degree certificates in the custody of your company is not a good Act.. It comes under unauthorised captivity of intellectual property of the individual ...which is against law of the land...it attracts blackmailing cases under IPC..
But it is a quite bad practice going on silently all over the world like . .. saying lies...
i have already told earlier...some judiciary cases favoured the managements....saying that the employer wants to stay in ...8n his company for survival of his business...nothing wrong untill the protest of the concerned employee who wants to go out for betterment...
i saw one young man worked for 40 yrs in the same shop as billbook writer without any improvement...forgetting his own future...
so applicatiln of humanity and natural justice judiciously considering welfare of the company....a HR technics essential. .according to situation.?..ok
