Please find enclosed the Excel file and TXT file that I have prepared and successfully uploaded. Unfortunately, I couldn't attach the CSV file.

Kindly follow the same procedure to create a TXT file and upload it.

When you find out some log error, open the link. You will find that some errors have occurred due to a mismatch with the EPFO format. The log error self-defines which row has the error/errors. At the time of uploading the file, I also faced the same problem. However, after rectifying the errors, I successfully updated the E-sewa and electronic challan of PF for the month of March contribution.

If you try this, I am sure you can upload your file successfully. For any further queries, you can post them here.

It is somewhat complicated and requires some training. Moreover, separating each field by #~# is a difficult and cumbersome task. The process should be simplified to make it more user-friendly.

I am using the E return tool 4.0. I am facing some of issue as following:-

(My system config is intel dual core, 2GB RAM, 500 HDD & OS – windows 7 Prof)

1. In report for employers: - there is no report format for currently active members in organization.

2. How to backup (on transfer the DATA on another computer) our establishment’s data.

App_Code folder (Bakup.mdb, est.mdb, form3a.mdb, ret.mdb)

The DATA (est details, employee personal & monthly data) in above .mdb file can only displayed when these .mdb files in this path C:\program file/ EPFO/App_code

For backup of App_Code folder (Bakup.mdb, est.mdb, form3a.mdb, ret.mdb)

I tried to copy the App_Code folder (Bakup.mdb, est.mdb, form3a.mdb, ret.mdb) to my desktop / another computer’s desktop / C:\program file/ EPFO/App_code,

Then there is no data available in above .mdb file.

I also open the password protected files (Bakup.mdb & ret.mdb), but there is no data available.

So please let me know, if my computer have any kind of HDD problem & I want to transfer the DATA to another computer for E return tool, then how to backup App_code folder with all DATA.

Hi Samartha,

All the dates should be in DD/MM/YYYY format. Moreover, you should only enter the dates for the persons who have joined in the month of March 2012. Hence, the joining dates should fall between 01/03/2012 and 31/03/2012, and the same is applicable for the employees who have resigned as well.
