Dear All ,
An update :
I reached out to my Manager few days back & it was a hello email , since I did not want to ask him for my job back in my first email itself .
However I did not get any response from him & I am now not sure if I should just send an email requesting him to re-consider me or since he has not responded , I should look out for some other opportunity elsewhere .
P.S : My manager has rated me as a good performer during my appraisal process .
You inputs highly appreciated .
Thanks & Regards,
Vinayak

Dear Vinayak
Please stop communicating through email or mobile. Personally go and meet him and appraise him with your present position and request him for your re-entry and assure him about your dedication and performance in future also.
If you do so, he may consider your case, if your company HR Policy accepts the re-entry of ex-employees. Lest you must search for some other options.

Dear Vinayak,
I am amazed that neither have you answered all the questions raised nor acted on the sound advice (To approach your ex-manager in person) and have wasted nearly a month deliberating what to do. Are you working at present or not? As the saying goes "Better late than never". Follow the advice given and let us know how your ex-boss reacts.

Dear all,
I take this opportunity to point out the time wasted in answering questions with not full information about the scenario. For example, many have suggested to Vinayak to approach his manager in person. Now after so many messages, we are told that the manager is based in States and the only way to reach him is by email. I also wonder what is meant by "based out of USA".!!
Dear Vinayak,
I would have thought your boss would have given his phone number when you were working. If so, can't you ring him?
