Can We Deduct The ESI, PF & PT When An Employees Is Under Suspension

Dear Sir,

When an employee joins on the last day of the month, i.e., 30.11.2013, how can we contribute to his PF? Please provide me with the details.

Lexmikanth,

You will be paying the salary for 30.11 along with the December salary. With the basic+DA of December, you add the basic+DA of 30.11 also and deduct 12% of the sum.
