As per my discussion with my legal consultant, the minimum wage can be split if we have hired someone for 4 hours of shift in a day. Half the amount of minimum wage would be payable in this regard conditioning one should take undertaking from the employee that he/she is doing a part time job with his/her wish and the person has accepted the company's terms and condition.
However is we have hired anyone for more than 4 hours of shift than the full minimum wage is applicable to be paid. The attachment provided at the first page for splitting of minimum page has out at abeyance is all together a different thing for calculation of basic wage.
