Absconding Employee / Maternity benefit eligibility - she never shared any maternity or medical certificate or document

We have tried contacting her, but unfortunately, the phones are not reachable and showing out of coverage area. Yes, I can understand that as employees, we should ask them, but their behavior shows the intention as on a sudden basis, they drop a mail and disappear, without calling or discussing with anyone. Now, their contact numbers are out of coverage or not reachable.
