I have recently joined as Manager-HR in an infrastructure company.
As of now there was no HR dept. in the company and now I am supposed to develop HR dept here.
I am confused about how to design a Holiday calender for employees as this company has got its branches in different states of India and as we all know the holidays would be different in different states depending upon the festivals celebrated there; accept government holidays.
Kindly guide me to design a proper calender so that co-ordination during holiday in a state would not be a problem.

Hope you get some idea once you check this enclosure.Kindly note festivals may differ will try to club the holidays to maintain uniformity across branches.Still one or two exemption will come that we need to consolidate and tally with our total leave.
