Dear Mr. Ahammad
You should have give me a call before referring what I have been suggested/replied to you regarding FR... I got a call from one person from GDCL. I am not able to recollect his name. Whoever it is, if his intention is for clearing the concept / sharing knowledge I will welcome the same, but he seems to interested in conveying his ideas to me and make me agree with that.
For future also don't just blindly go behind the suggestions you getting through this forum... It may be wrong also... Most of the time when I am replying I make myself satisfied with the answer which I am posting, then come up with the response...
Now his arguments was following which I thought I should bring in front of the forum to get the view of others:
1. He is telling as LTI & Fatal is not same, we don't need to consider/count fatal accident while calculating the FR. Suppose if one LTI & one Fatal happened, as total number of one accident to be calculated for FR calculation.
I am still not agreeing with this.
Suppose in a plant if Two fatal accident happened and no LTI happened, will the frequency rate be "ZERO".
What is the logic behind such an argument.
Mr. Ahammadh, I request you to refer this website to your friend/manager who is arguing you on this subject. Let him come up with his input on this forum. If it is right and justifiable we will learn from it.
