Hi, can any one let me know that in EPF my employer has previously made contribution for only 6% instead of 12% by showing our wages in half. after filing a grievance to EPFO my employer has started crediting the other 6% into our EPF accounts on each month for around 2years and completed the process . But the interest amount was not been credited in to our accounts to till date. Can any one let me know can the employee can ask for his belated interest amount as it was the fault of the employer and under which rule? or shall the EPFO will credit the interest amount.
If the interest amount will be credited how can it be calculated and can we get compound interest on the belated payments?
