Hello all, please help me understand the PF transfer process and its possible roadblocks.
My history is as follows:
- I worked with Wipro between March 2007 and January 2015 and withdrew the PF amount from their trust in mid-2015.
- From January 2015 till August 2021, I worked for IBM. In September 2021, IBM spun off one of their divisions and formed a new organization called Kyndryl, where I became an employee.
- While PF transfer from IBM to Kyndryl occurred for most employees, it did not happen for me.
- I left Kyndryl in July 2022 and am currently not employed by any organization.
- Despite multiple attempts, online transfer requests were rejected by the PF office, instructing me to initiate the transfer from my previous organizations. After raising a grievance, I learned that I needed to transfer the PF from Wipro to Kyndryl first (even though I had withdrawn the amount) and then from IBM to Kyndryl.
- Successfully transferring zero rupees from Wipro to Kyndryl, I initiated another transfer request from IBM to Kyndryl. However, this request was rejected due to EPS contributions being merged with the employer's share and a discrepancy in my father's name.
I am seeking guidance on navigating the PF transfer process efficiently as I have financial plans dependent on this amount. Thank you.
