My EPF account is deactivated. So, I visited https://unifiedportal-emp.epfindia.gov.in/epfo to unblock my account. However, it shows an invalid request. I need to know if I did it correctly or incorrectly.

In the login ID field, I entered my UAN number.
State: the state where the office is established
Office: the district where the office is established
Establishment ID: MRMRT2379078000 for Meerut (UP)
RC: MR
OC: MRT
Est Code: 2379078
Ext: 000
Registered Mobile Number: the one registered in my Aadhar card
I also entered the captcha correctly.

Despite this, it still shows an invalid request.

To address the issue of your EPF account showing an invalid request when attempting to unblock it, follow these steps:

1. Verify Details: Double-check all the information you entered on the portal, especially your UAN number, state, district, Establishment ID, and registered mobile number. Ensure that all details are accurate and match the records.

2. Try Different Browsers: Sometimes, certain browser settings or compatibility issues can cause errors. Try accessing the portal using a different web browser to see if the issue persists.

3. Clear Browser Cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies before attempting to log in again. This can help resolve any temporary glitches that may be causing the invalid request message.

4. Contact EPFO Helpdesk: If the issue persists despite the above steps, reach out to the EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organisation) helpdesk for assistance. Provide them with all the details of the error you are encountering and the steps you have taken to resolve it.

5. Visit Local EPFO Office: If the online portal continues to show the error, consider visiting your local EPFO office in Meerut (UP) with all your relevant documents, including your Aadhar card and EPF details. The staff at the office can assist you in resolving the account deactivation issue.

By following these steps, you should be able to address the problem with your EPF account and unblock it successfully.
