Hi,
I joined Capgemini India a month ago, where we all work more than 10 hours a day. I fear that if this continues, I will become mentally stressed, so I have decided to leave. I have received an offer from CTS as an immediate joiner, where I did not include my Capgemini experience in my resume. Therefore, I have decided to abscond from Capgemini.
Now I am worried - if I abscond, can CTS track my previous employer, Capgemini, from where I absconded? I did not register in NSR. Will Capgemini report the absconding in the NSR portal? Will this affect my CTS background screening?
Please advise.

Dear Anony,
We live in a technologically advanced world. There is a huge possibility that your current employer may get to know about your previous employment with Capgemini. Even though you are not registered in NSR, or won't disclose your previous employment to your new employer, yet when they use your UAN or Aadhar on the PF portal, they will get to know about your previous employment. Whether they act on this or not is highly subjective in nature.

Hi,
It is never a good beginning to run away from responsibilities with an excuse that you were not treated well, etc. Why not stay back and fight instead of running away and getting scared all through? Check if you can have a talk at the new employment and share your 'ordeal' and see that you do not commit such blunders, that too so early in your career. If the previous employer has not initiated any documentation work towards PF and other works, maybe it is possible that you might get away.
Good luck.
Thanks and Regards

Anamik,
10 hours of work includes lunchtime, tea breaks, gossip, etc. You have not accomplished anything remarkable nor have you done any favors for the CG.
Your perception of the workplace as an entertainment hall is misguided. You should consider starting your own business; then you will appreciate the value of hard work and putting in extra effort.

Dear Colleague,
Fearing mental stress from working 10 hours, absconding and joining another organization without disclosing the previous employer, not registering in NSR, and seeking advice for these idiosyncrasies are signs of an unstable mind. There is a drastic need to correct your attitudes; without this, you will never be fit to work anywhere.
