I have been working for nearly 6 years. When I joined, they informed me about 12 days for CL, 12 days for SL, and 12 days for EL/VL (which could be carried forward). However, every year, the EL leave was not added more than 17 days in HRIS. Therefore, if I resign now, the company will only pay for those 17 days. Kindly advise on the rules and regulations regarding this matter.

Hi Mani,

The rule states that as per the Factory Act 1948, the Earned Leaves (ELs) will be given after you complete 240 working days. You will get ELs for every 20 working days. You can apply for ELs only after you complete 240 working days.
