Dear Tamanna,

If speeches were to improve the employee productivity then management science in general and HR management in particular would not have taken birth at all.

Employee productivity is too complex. It depends on motivation of workers, culture of interdependence and cooperation, quality raw materials, quality of the machines that they use, leadership qualities of the managers, their own job knowledge, remuneration as per market standards and so on.

Next thing for you is to do the time and motion studies. Also study why and how much scrap is generated. Study the cycle time for each process. Study the layout of the factory as well.

Ok...

Hello Tamanna
Productivity in real terms will go up only when the speech is matched by actions at ground level. The reason why HR incurs the displeasure of the employees is that they make tall promises and do precious little to keep them. Please guard yourslef against such lapse and try to translate the promises into relaity.

I agree with the above suggestions. Predicting what engages people and what enhances productivity is very standardized and needs more construct.
I don't have any more suggestions, but agree with Dinesh, Sastry and Saikumar.
So, try these out and you will see that the suggestions have actually enabled you to enhance your own skills.

Good question Tamanna,
Here it is - I am here to serve you to the best of my ability, to ensure that you have everything you need to do the very best work. If you need information I will provide it. Better tools, training or coaching? I will provide them. Less direction and more autonomy? I will provide it. I know that your job is to decide what to do and how to do it and then do it. Mine is to use my authority to provide whatever you need and your morale is most important. So I will listen to your complaints, suggestions, and questions and respond to them to your satisfaction or better. I know you want to do the best you can and I will help you to do that.
That is a short speech and I hope it serves you as well as it did me.

Greetings Tamanna

No number of motivational speeches will help you achieve your motivational objective unless you yourself are fully motivated. So first you must motivate yourself. And far and away the best way for you to do this is to download a couple of professionally written motivational speeches from a dedicated speech web site such as www.need-a-speech.com.

Not only will these speeches give you an insight into what is the shape of a professionally written - and carefully structured - motivational speech but you will see that common to all of these motivational speeches is \'enthusiasm\'.

That\'s because \'enthusiasm\' is a far better motivational sales aid than \'fear\'.

Think of some of the greatest motivational speeches of all time ... think Churchill... think Kennedy... they didn\'t use \'fear\' as their motivational aid... they used \'enthusiasm. And that\'s what you\'ll find in the speeches at www.need-a-speech.com. It will give you an insight into how to effectively harness \'enthusiasm\' as a powerful motivator.

regards
