Hi all,
I work in a telecom company as a planning coordinator in Human Resources. It is my responsibility to write all Policies & Procedures. I am stuck with one - the "Communication Policy." We already have one for Email and Internet, but I can't find any guidelines for this one.
I would appreciate some help.
Thank you

Dear Zena,
The objective of the Communication Process shall be to bring in place suitable mechanisms that establish and maintain an open communication environment, share the appropriate information across all levels of the organization, enhance communication within the company, and improve the efficiency of our work for potential information use. It aims to encourage employees to share information across the organization and support task performance and coordination among individuals and groups.
You may incorporate the following into your communication policy:
- Policy relating to e-mails, Intranet, mobile phone usage, Intercom, Telephones, Extranet, etc.
- Policy relating to Interoffice Memos and correspondence
- Notice Boards and Bulletin Boards
- Employee Meetings, Departmental Meetings, Managers' meetings, etc.
- Social HR
- Employee Suggestion Schemes, etc.
I hope you will receive more suggestions and inputs from many other co-members in CiteHR.

Hello Everybody,
Can somebody suggest what kind of communication policy should be framed for setting up a new organization? The parent office of this organization is in the US, and it is a back-end process. There are 200 employees, and it is an ITES captive organization. These are the conditions given to me. I have to do an assignment on the same. I am pursuing PGDHRM.
