Dear all/Sir,

150 employees are working in the Establishment, but some employees do not have PF contributions deducted (employees' contribution 12%) despite having a salary (basic) of more than 10,000/- per month. The Establishment is not deducting PF Employee Contributions in these cases. The PF regional office is aware of this issue, and there may be penalties for the Establishment as per the PF Act. Could you please clarify what penalties the Establishment might face under the PF Act and the amount of the penalty?

Thank you.

Hi Milan,

Don't worry, there is no penalty on that as Ms. Hema marked that those who are getting more than ₹6500 as their basic salary are exempted from PF. This means there is no compulsion on deducting PF for those getting more than ₹6500 as basic. It's the employer's wish if he wants to deduct; he can, otherwise, it is totally exempted.

Hello,

Mr. Nandan Negi, I have gone through your profile, and it's great and serves as a benchmark for newcomers like me. Although I have 2.8 years of experience in HR, it is not as core as your profile. Do you have any suggestions on how I can reach that level? For example, would you recommend any courses that could help me boost my career, such as the software you mentioned like RAMCO? Can these be learned from somewhere?

Please suggest something, as I am eager to learn more in the Core Generalist profile.

Regards,
Kanchan

Hi Kanchan,

Nice to see you. Where do you want to reach, stand, and learn? Can you share your profile with me? This will help me suggest more clearly what you are looking for and what you need to do to reach the level you aim to stand at.

Yes, we do have training institutes in the market that offer training on software and all related to the profile. However, it may not be sufficient! If you want to work on software, I would suggest joining a company that works with software rather than getting training from an institute. Since you are already engaged in HR, you can easily transition. If you would like to know more, please share your profile so we can discuss what you want.

Good luck.
