Following are the amendments in the Factories Act:
1) Form-12 has been deleted (Only Form-11 is now available for Hoists, Lifts, Lifting machines, and tackles).
2) Form-3 has been deleted (All the contents previously in Form-3 are now included in Form-2).
3) Rule 18(A) has been included for medical examinations.

I request all HR & IR Managers working in Indian Factories to go through the proposed amendments as they are likely to be implemented. It is essential for us to prepare well in advance for the proposed amendments.
