We at our office distribute ACCOR food coupons at Rs. 50 per day to an employee for the number of days he/she has worked.

We have been approached by Sodexo Pass for the distribution of their coupons to our staff. We had a mixed opinion from our staff and are thinking of distributing Accor food coupons for one month, and in the next month, we distribute Sodexo food coupons. We doubt if this kind of arrangement works well with tax departments, our vendors ACCOR & Sodexo. Is it necessary that as we have a tie-up with ACCOR then we will have to purchase only ACCOR Food Coupons? Can we not utilize services from both companies for our food coupon requirements?

I don’t think there is any issue in having two vendors for meal coupons. You should comply with the limits. regards Amit
