Hi All
I want to introduce myself to all of you. I am a new member of this site.

I m having some professional problem, I m working with a consulting company for 7 month as Sr. Technical Recruiter in Delhi. This is Startup Company, when I joined, I was very impress to the employees & employer.
My performance was very appreciated by my boss. At that moment they had few requirement bt I thought, with the time company will be better than earlier. And any business need some time to establish.
But now a day we are having ample requirement through a major & brand name client and my whole team have submitted good number of profiles. Sometimes they give feedback and sometimes they didn’t.
From 2 month we are only working not getting proper feedback from client side. And company management is focusing more onto under pressure work. I am not satisfied to my work coz I m working hard & smart and deliver the quality profile but not getting output. I get per month salary on time but not any closure. Sometimes our senior person treat us badly coz they are not able to meet their target.
I have given good business to my company when I joined. I want hike but my company is not in such condition, and I don’t think that I should talk to boss in this respect. I m trying for another job but due to recession time, I m not getting good offer.

So plz anybody help me that should I carry my current job or looking for change.

Namita,
Every establishment will have a target and in order to meet the target all employees work together as a team. There may be cases like you who can bring in more business due to his/ her personal contact or ability to convince clients. But when pooled together, the efforts put in by such performer may not get highlighted. It is only a small period of 7 months. Don't worry, when the company grows your work will be appreciated. Do not think that others are not doing well but still you are treated at par with them. Consider that you help others also for the benefit of the establishment. When the company starts getting profits, the system will accept you and award you in a better manner.
I can not say that you should find a better job or even I cannot compel you to stay back in the present job. It is upto you to decide. For me, however, a service of hardly 7 months in a company is very limited period to judge the future.

What I understand is either you want"closer" or wanna leave this (country.... ?) I mean company to try another If I m not wrong....
1.5 years is not expereince my friend, you have to work for at least 3 years in one company. According specialsit HR we judge people takes one year to gain practical exposure to learn and excel during their first year in jobs. Second they with some trial and error starts taking intiatives to practice whats real job is all about and they perform in the third year.
So the experience below three years in one company we do not count as experience while reading resume if we are looking for some streight from jacket who can fit into job profile of some experience position.
You have to wait, unfortunately life demands lot of desires to fulfill in shortest time but circumstances arround did not respond favourably to everyone. Do not run faster than your ability dreams are OK but your time is yet to come and this is just begining for you.
Have patience.

Thanx for ur suggestion, i know my ability thats why i am with my company. yes i m searching but not disperatly coz i don't want to loose opportunity. i also want to carry on my job in 1 organization atleast 2 years but sometimes i get disappoint, coz sometimes i have to show that i m busy to my senior but i do not. coz they do not understand that if i hv submitted 7 profile on perticular req. & i m not having any other req. they say do more n more quality submission. sometimes i feel that i m building the database of my client, coz they do not response of those profile which are shortlisted.
you know i have submitted 100+ profile for 1 client.
and i m not having any output.

Hi Namita,
Welcome to this forum !!!
From your mail we can make out that you must be trying hard to give your best. When you join any new company there is twice you experience honeymoon time
1. when you join – initial phase till the time you settle down and
2. when you leave the company.- notice period. S
So definitely you have enjoyed the first one.
You have only 1.5 years experience and I suppose out of that 7 month is with existing company. I personally suggests stick to this company bocz of following reasons-
  • You are not happy so you will make compromise and take up any job whichever will come your way.
  • Market is down so you may not get a job and you will get frustration and will feel that you are not good that’s why you are getting it. This will affect your confidence.
  • If you shift that will show job hopping which is not good.
Everybody is going through same phase. Every time you can not expect praise.
When market was good you have done well. But challenge is when conditions are against you and still you try your level best.
The person who stand in crisis he is the best… show your performance and then leave.
Rest of the things depends on situation.

All the best.

Hi namitha
As this point of time i prefer you dont change the company as the market has gone from bad to worse.
Look for opportunity outside ur present company and incase ur willing top relocate send me ur profile to as i have good contacts with HR executives in MNC/BPO, IT, Telecom Gaints, and other sectors i may help u out but that can happen only if ur ready for relocation, better growth, excellent work environment & ofcourse paypacket
